What is an in-person intensive group?

An adult Chinese course for learners who can dedicate focused time. You study at fixed times with peers of a similar level, connecting pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and all four skills. The course is structured, with real-life communication tasks built in.

Provisionally Monday to Thursday, with three 50-minute lessons per day. Frequent classes let you reuse new language right away. Four weeks is a flexible starting block that can extend into a longer plan.

Who it suits
Adults new to China, able to study intensively for a period, or rebuilding their foundations. Beginner to intermediate levels.
How a lesson works
Start by understanding new language, practise through explanations, pair work and group tasks, then refine pronunciation, wording and sentences with feedback.
How it is organised
Available in Hangzhou and Shanghai; usually 4, up to 6 students. 4 weeks = 48 lessons, 40 teaching hours. Cultural activities are arranged separately.

Guided by a teacher, supported by peers.

From understanding new material to expressing your own ideas, the classroom becomes a place for continuous practice.
